Аннотация:The kinetic patterns were studied of reactions occurring during the photolysis of chlorine solutions in a glassy hydrochloric acid matrix. Quantum yields of photochemical reactions in the system studied were determined. It was shown that the main stages of the process are the stage of the generation of Cl2- anion-radicals in pairs during the photodissociation of the Cl2 molecule in a matrix containing Cl- anions, the stage of chain transfer of the valence as a result of the alternation of the photochemical dissociation of Cl2- and the thermal formation of Cl2-in the reaction of the Cl atom with the "not maternal" Cl- anion, and the stages of chain termination, which comprise the reaction of the Cl atom with the Cl2 molecule with formation of the Cl3 particle.
