Аннотация:Adsorption of chlorophylls a (Chl a) and b (Chl b) on silica gel modified with a bovine serum albumin (BSA) monolayer was studied. Diffuse reflection and fluorescence spectra of adsorbed Chi a and Chl b were recorded. It was shown that an increase in the concentration of adsorbed pigments results ill the formation of associates. Based on the adsorption and spectral data, it was established that the sorption of Chl proceeds via coordination interactions of Ma with electron-donor groups of BSA. The association of the pigments is caused by pi-pi interactions of the macrocycles of adsorbed Chl molecules. The structure of adsorbed Chl a and Chl b layers depends on the nature of the interaction of the pigments with the protein-coated carrier.
