Аннотация:The content and composition of iron, aluminum, silicon, and manganese compounds were deter-
mined in soils of forest ecosystems of the Russkii Sever National Natural Park (Vologda oblast). The strongest weathering of minerals and the highest content of dithionite-soluble iron are typical for non-deep-podzolic residually calcareous soil; their lowest values are typical for soddy-calcareous soil. A pronounced eluvial–illuvial differentiation of dithionite-, oxalate-, and pyrophosphate-soluble compounds is observed in podzolic soils,
and their accumulative differentiation is observed in soddy-calcareous soil.
