- Аннотация: The data of the wind field objective analysis of the European Center for Medium Range Weather Forecasts were used to calculate the velocity potential of divergent wind and the stream function in the free tropical atmosphere during the culmination of the 1982-10983 ENSO event. New information is discussed on the macroscale transformation of the vertical cells of the zonal circulation which caused the anomalous distribution of the planetary zonal flows in the lower and middle troposphere of the low latitudes. -Journal summary
