Аннотация:It was shown for the Hg/[H2O + mc KBr + (1 - m)c KF] system as a model and example that the electrode's equilibrium capacitance can be found with an error of fractions of a percent when employing the second (low-frequency) Cauer representation for the impedance of the ideally polarizable electrode. Only three elements of the second Cauer form can be determined reliably with an error of a few percent (3-5 %) within the frequency range that is experimentally accessible. The electrode's electrical equivalent-circuit parameters can be interpreted in terms of the base electrolyte concept within these error limits at m less-than-or-equal-to 0.1.
