Studies of the melting processes in semicrystalline polymers with a combination of synchrotron nanofocus X-ray scattering and in-situ ultrafast calorimetryстатья

Аннотация:The work is focused on the design and application of a new experimental method consisting in a combination of ultra-fast chip-calorimetry with synchrotron nanofocus X-ray diffraction. The proposed method is used to address the melting processes occurring in nangram-sized samples of semicrystalline polymers. The possibility of such research is of interest when working with materials that are characterized by complex phase behavior, such as the ones prone to formation of metastable states or the ones exhibiting fast reorganization processes on heating.
