Аннотация:For conditions of two-dimensional condensation, a model of the distribution of the surface-active molecules along the electrode surface is suggested in which it is assumed that all absorbed organic surfactant molecules unite into a cluster. The relation between the current flowing at the dropping mercury electrode when tangential motions of the third kind arise and the degree of coverage of the electrode surface by organic surfactants is explained quantitatively in terms of this model.
