Аннотация:Spatial variation of activity concentrations of 137Cs and the content of the acid soluble compounds of 133Cs,Zn, Cd and Pb in the litter of spruce forest on the area of 900 m2 in the distant zone of Chernobyl fallout have been investigated. The patterns of the spatial distribution of the elements are shown to be connected with the parcel structure of the forest. The isotopic ratio of 137Cs/133Cs in the litter varies from 1.0 × 10–8 to 14.6 × 10–8.
A positive correlation of the spatial distribution of 137Cs and Pb is discovered in litter, which points to technogenic air flow and combined ways of their secondary redistribution in spruce forest. A positive correlation between 133Cs, Zn and Cd was detected in litter as a result of their joint biogeochemical migration.
