Аннотация:The heat capacity of InTe was studied by adiabatic calorimetry in the temperature range 15-320 K and by differential scanning calorimetry at 300-600 K. At temperatures above 100 K, the experimental heat capacity values were substantially different from those reported earlier (by approximate to6% at 300 K). The temperature dependences of the thermodynamic functions of indium telluride (entropy, enthalpy, and reduced Gibbs energy) were calculated using the smoothed heat capacity values by joint treatment of low- and high-temperature data. Under standard conditions, the thermodynamic function values were C(p)degrees (298.15 K) = 50.67 +/- 0.10 J/(mol K), S degrees (299.15 K), = 102.2 +/- 0.3 (J/mol K), H degrees (298.15 K) - H degrees (0) = 12.19 +/- 0.03 kJ/mol, and Phi degrees (298.15 K) = 61.33 +/- 0.15 J/(mol K). The Theta (infinity)(D) Debye temperature of InTe estimated from the heat capacity data equaled 186 +/- 5 K.
