Аннотация:We show that the composition of low-volatility two-component compounds (gallium selenides) can be governed by chemical transport (CT) without the crystals being destroyed. Given a sufficiently prolonged annealing, the set composition of phases is controlled by the temperatures of hot and cold zones and the nature of the precursors. The composition is presented as a function of hot-zone and cold-zone temperatures. The role of transport agents (here, gallium iodides) in chemical transport is discussed. The possibility of expanding the method to other binary systems with low-volatility intermediate phases is considered.
