Аннотация:The experimental data are presented on the multiplicity and angular distributions of heavily ionizing particles—products of target fragmentation in proton-nucleus and pion-nucleus interactions in emulsion in the range from 24 to 400 GeV/c. Azimuthal correlations between gray particles are observed in individual events of interactions. It is shown that groups of relativistic produced particles and recoil protons in hadron-nucleus collisions have a tendency to be emitted into the opposite directions in the azimuthal plane; the energy dependence of these correlations and the dependence on pseudorapidity of produced particles are investigated. The data presented are interpreted in the frameworks of current multiple-scattering models of nuclear production.
