- Аннотация: The paper focuses on the study of the mountainous landscapes in the training of students of the department of physical geography and landscapes in Lomonosov Moscow State University. Issues related to mountainous theme are covered in a number of training courses throughout the period of training of students. Special attention is paid to them during a monthly field mountainous landscape practice in the Elbrus region and in a specially created course "Mountainous landscapes". Special attention in this course is paid not only to obtaining theoretical knowledge, but also to solving applied problems related to improving the ecological state of mountain landscapes and sustainable development of mountainous regions.
