Аннотация:In September - October 1981 and March 1982 UBVRJHK photometry has been obtained for the eclipsing binary RX Cas. The UBVRJHK radiation of RX Cas near the secondary minimum may by supposed to consist of two components: the radiation of a G(5 ± 2) giant and that of a blackbody with Teff = 6000K. In the near ultraviolet (U filter) an excess radiation is observed which comes from both a hot spot on the surface of the blackbody source and an ionized optically thin envelope. The distance of RX Cas as estimated from the G5 III giant star radiation is ≡280 pc, the G5 III radius is ≡10 R_sun;, the radius of the hot source is ≡8 R_sun;.
