Аннотация:Pleurotus ostreatus is commercially important edible mushroom commonly known as oyster mushroom. Due to intensive development of mushroom growing industry, new mushroom breeding programs are highly required. The current research was aimed at finding DNA-markers related to genomic regions, which are responsible for some quantitative traits of the oyster mushroom such as yield production, colour of fruitbody caps, and mycelium growth rate.
The present research revealed 12 genomic regions (quantitative trait loci, QTL’s) controlling vegetative growth rate and 6 QTL’s responsible for the fruitbody cap colour. The genetic linkage map of Pleurotus ostreatus was constructed. All QTL’s studied were placed on the genetic linkage map. The linkage map can be a useful tool for design of breeding programs based on genomic data.
