Аннотация:The experimental investigation of non-stationary pulsed flow ionization during the interaction between a shock wave and a wedge in the rectangular channel was carried out. Special discharge test chamber was mounted into the shock tube. Nanosecond-lasting volume discharge with ultraviolet pre-ionization was initiated at different stages of high speed gas flow with plane shock wave at Mach numbers 3.0 ± 0.1, instant plasma glow images were obtained. High speed shadowgraphy and CCD plasma glow recording, as well as CFD simulation were also performed.
