N-methylimidazole ligands, attached to a solid matrix based on branched polyphenylenes with 1,3,5-triphenylbenzene substituted core were synthesized. Based on these macroligands the (N-heterocyclic carbene)2PdX2 complexes were prepared and characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The catalytic properties of the complexes, immobilized on the polyphenylene matrices were studied in the palladium catalyzed cross-coupling Heck, Suzuki and cyanation reactions. The results indicate that the catalytic properties are not worse than that of the low molecular homogenous catalysts. The catalyst stability was evaluated by means of recyclability tests. In the conditions of cross-coupling reaction the catalysts could work during five cycles. [ DOI ]
