Аннотация:An exact quantum solution is obtained for the problem of Gaussian wavepacket motion in an anharmonic potential. Wave-packet evolution is described by means of an autocorrelation function. The solution is expressed via the theta function with time-dependent argument and parameter. A simple physical analogy is proposed for the wavepacket motion. The problem of calculating the width of the wavepacket ''revival zones'' is considered.
