Аннотация:Results of the modelling of heavy ion diffusion processes in the Earth's magnetosphere for various ions (helium, oxygen), both solar and ionospheric origins, is presented. Comparisons with existing experimental data were made. The results of the calculations concerning the dependence between the ionospheric ion source intensity and ion flux intensity inside the magnetosphere are discussed, The results of modelling show different sensitivity of the trapped ions fluxes to the ionosphere source intensity for different ions species, resulting in different behaviour of ion fluxes in the inner magnetosphere. An explanation of the phenomena, based on charge exchange cross-section differences is suggested. It is shown that in the inner regions of magnetosphere (L<4), ionospheric helium (He+), unlike ionospheric oxygen (O+), practically can not be found in the background of fluxes solar originated ions.
