Аннотация:The new challenges of the business, social and cultural environment, demands
versatile professionals able to create and manage innovative and dynamic projects.
The challenges from competitiveness across global market or the rapid social
changes are some factors that make necessary the continuing education of all
professionals from different sectors that work, or pretend to work, in the rising field
of cultural heritage. It is an unarguably true that there is a need at companies and
institutions to the demands that the society of XXI century requires. That
demands needs to develop a flexible and dynamic ways to understand and manage
the cultural heritage.
In this context, SEAV, INNOVA and eighteen research groups from fifteen
Spanish universities, proposed the creation of the first International Training Plan in
Virtual Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, SEAV TRAINING. It is dedicated exclusively
to the field of Digital Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, understood as a
scientific discipline that aims to research and develop ways of applying visualization
and computer-aided representation to Heritage Management.
This Training Plan, Virtual Archaeology and Cultural Heritage International
Campus, SEAV TRAINING searches not only the professionals´s education at key´s
areas to the development of complete projects in Heritage´s management
through the newest computer tools, but also the newest theoretical approaches.
This Training Plan, searches to give the students an strong and pragmatic
training, incluiding theoric and practic contents. Objectives are defined
attending to professional insertion, so we have keep in mind specific competences
of more utility and repercussion in the current international context. We considerate that first education should provide to the future professional with theorical knowledgements, skills,
attitudes and enough contact with his profession and practices. Then, it constitutes the basis to build his professional development. This development takes the whole professional life, techniques are in constant change and evolution. That is the reason why is important to take care
of quality, variety and orientation of first education received.
