[1] Tatiana S. Current state of analytical chemistry teaching in russian universities // Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry. — 2018. — Vol. 17, no. 410. — P. 3917–3924. The overview on the situation in Russian universities presented in this paper is based on the data of the survey of the main Russian universities performed last spring by the Commission on analytical chemistry teaching of the Scientific Council for analytical chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which heads the activities of the united community of professors and teachers of AC in our country. In the paper the most important problems of analytical chemistry teaching are discussed: undergraduate course of analytical chemistry, including real-world samples analysis as a final work on chemical methods of analysis, course research work using instrumental methods of analysis, module-rating system; then the peculiarities of majoring in analytical chemistry in Russian universities are described. Finally, the attention was payed to advantages and drawbacks of the reforms and novel forms of teaching analytical chemistry in the universities of Russia. It was highlighted that Russian universities are at the beginning of the reforms; and the joint efforts of the community of professors and teachers of AC in our country should provide a successful solution to the problem on how to join the European Higher Education Area while not losing all the advantages of a traditional Russian education.
