Аннотация:The X-ray emulsion chamber technique was used to study the energy spectrum and zenith-angle distribution of cosmic ray muons. It is found that the fraction of fast generation (the ratio of fast muons to pions with the same energy at generation) is less than 0.8 percent with 70 percent probability, up to a muon energy of 13 TeV (which corresponds to a primary cosmic ray nucleon energy of 80 TeV). The power index of the energy spectrum of global muon flux is 2.92 plus or minus 0.07 in the energy range 3-30 TeV. At muon energies in excess of 13 TeV the data indicate a possible increase of fast muon generation.
