Method consists in growing a bicrystal from a melt of leucosapphire on a binary seed crystal which is prepared from two monocrystalline triangular plates cut from a monocrystalline ingot of leucosapphire. A cut is then made on the side surfaces of each plate, the plane is polished and the plates are connected between themselves by cut planes in a holder. USE-Method concerns cryogenic microelectronics and may be used to manufacture electronic instruments and devices working on the SHF range with a level of intrinsic noise approaching the quantum threshold, whose operation is based on the phenomenon of high temperature superconductivity and the Josephson effect, with a working temperature close to the evaporation temperature of liquid nitrogen and characteristics unattainable for analogues working at a temperature of 4.2K.
