NOVELTY - The disk has a main disk body made from a material that is transparent to radiation with which recorded information is to be reproduced. Reflective and partly reflective data layers (1, 2) are placed inside the main disk body. The data layers have guide grooves for tracking with the different slant of surfaces containing information pits. The groove surfaces of the layers are inclined at angle of theta to a disk plane. USE - Used with a standard reading system. ADVANTAGE - The different incline of the grooves in the data layers of the disk reduces the interlayer cross-talks, thus decreasing the distance between the layers resulting in a high three-dimensional capacity. The disk performs both consecutive and parallel information reading from the layers with enhanced speed. The spaces between the grooves are reduced, thereby increasing capacity of the disk. The disk can be fully compatible with a standard reading system.
