1) We designed the acoustic-electromagnetic logging device, which allows to simultaneously ac-quiring in fluid-filled boreholes thea pressure field (mandatory), either thean axial component of electric field, or theand an azimuthal component of magnetic field intensities or both (pre-ferred embodiment) excited in surrounding borehole formation due to the electrokinetic ef-fect. 2) We developed new approaches and methods allowing the estimation of rock and fluid proper-ties of the formation surrounding borehole using the proposed acoustic-electromagneticic log-ging device measurements.
