A can be an anti-oxidant of general formula (I): where m is a whole number 0-3; Y is similar or different substitutes that represent lower alkyls or alkoxys. A can also be two vicinal Ys connected to each other to form a general formula (II): where R1 and R2 similar or different substitutes representing lower alkyl or alkoxy. L can be a simple or branched carbon chain that if necessary can contain one or more binary or tertiary bonds, ester, complex ester, C-S, or S-S or peptide bonds, if necessary can be replaced by one or more substitutes preferably alkyl, alkoxi, halogen, or amino groups. L can also be a natural isoprenoid chain. USE - In pharmaceutical industry and medicine. ADVANTAGE - The antioxidants longevity is increased and effects onto organisms improved.
