- Описание: The main goal of the course is to help graduate students understand better the language of urban landscape as expressed through symbols and other forms of communication channels in connection with ecological policies and efforts. The value of the course is that it links historical perspectives, present in cities of today with the current vision of a city identity. New technologies in construction, materials, healthcare and education create expectations that cities should both be ecologically healthy and look healthy. It can be useful for those , who want to work at governments of different levels, do research in any field of urban studies, ecology or environment in general, as more than 50% of the world population live in cities.
