The authors propose the concept of geoprocessing models that included in the meteorological model. This model can be divided into three stages. The first step is the calculation of the thermophysical and geometrical characteristics of urban land surface. For this purpose, geoprocessing models were constructed using ArcGIS Desktop 10. One of them is called "Calculate surface fraction" and calculates the proportion of surface occupied by buildings, impervious and natural surface. Another model is called "Calculate statistic height". It calculates the mean, geometric mean, standard deviation of buildings heights. Also, models were developed to calculate the ratio of average buildings height and average width of the streets and to calculate sky view factor. The second stage of the model is to calculate the weather forecast using meteorological model. This is the longest stage. And the final step is the inclusion of calculated meteorological fields in the GIS environment for further visualization and analysis.
