The current sheets (CSs) in space plasma appear as fundamental objects which play an important role in structuring and dynamical evolution of the global magnetic environments of astrophysical and space objects. The physical nature of the current sheet consists in specific motion of the currentcreating particles which has a strong non‐linear character. By this, the self‐consistent description of dynamics of the current‐creating particles in CS is one of the key challenging tasks of the space plasma physics. Since, the universal solution expressed via analytical functions of a problem regarding charged particle motion in arbitrary magnetic field geometry is still not found, the mostly used approach of finding analytical solutions is based on specific assumption about the conservation of some relations along the particle trajectory. The most developed method in that respect uses the conservation of the canonical momentum Py=mVy+q A (where Vy is local y‐component of particle velocity, m and q are a mass and charge of particle and A is a vector potential of magnetic field) along the particle trajectory. The fact of Py‐conservation allows to avoid the detail description of non‐linear dynamic of the current creating particles. By this, the representation of the particle distribution function f as an arbitrary function of Py and H (i.e. f=F(Py,H)), where H is a total energy (or Hamiltonian), and making averaging for whole range of the space‐phase allows to find the selfconsistent CS description in frame of kinetic approach. However, such approach might have physical artifacts which are not mentioned in the original formulation of the problem.
