The dental histological investigation of tooth plates of an Early Devonian dipnoan Ichnomylax karatayi sp.nov. from Taymir peninsula (Siberia)showed presence of petrodentine in its hard tissues. It is the earliest known fact of presence petrodentine in dipnoan tooth structures.
