Аннотация доклада:
The thoughts of such Ibsen’s heroines as Nora, Hedda and Gilda repeated the thought of Vera Komissarzhevskaya. As the heroines of the founder of the European "new drama" stood against the usual stereotypes, and Komissarzhevskaya was convinced that «The time is out of joint». Actress appealed to the audience not from the pages of the foreign, alien pieces, out of touch with the life of feverish Russia. Vera Komissarzhevskaya understood that mirror of the theater had no right to be distorting.
