The peculiarities of the combustion and thermooxidative processes of the porous HDPE films modified by crazing and the copper-contained composites developed on the basis of porous polymer were studied in the present work. Finedispersity particles of copper were obtained inside polymer pores by the thermolyse of copper-organic compound at 120C. The creation of the porous structure was shown to effect thermooxidative decomposition, namely the amount of the oxidizing centres increased and activation energy of the diffusion of oxygen molecules to the oxidizing centres decreased when the porosity grew up. That results in the considerably decrease of temperature at the beginning thermooxidation. Simultaneously with a growth of the polymer film deformation the oriented order of the unwrapped polymer fibrils increased and so the temperature of a maximum loss of the samples’ masses increased. The introduction of the finedispersity copper particles in the polymer matrices accelerated or retarded the thermooxidative processes in depending on the copper content in polymer.
