My talk is focused on resent progress in neutron diffraction technics and methods in respect to extreme condition physics. The emphasis directed on progress with special neutron diffractometers DN-12 and DN-6 for studies of materials under extreme conditions on high-flux pulsed reactor IBR-2. The some results of studying of complex manganese and iron oxides at high pressures up to 13 GPa using sapphire anvil high pressure cells are presented. The evaluation of prospects for experiments with diamonds anvil cells are discussed.
