This research enhances superconducting neuromorphic hardware by creating compact Josephson junctions (JJs) cells that mimic biological neural activity. We propose two innovative designs: 1. JJ neurons inspired by biology, which replicate key neural characteristics such as spiking and oscillatory bursts; 2. Adiabatic JJ-cells with sigmoid activation functions that can be controlled by pulses, forming the foundation for energy-efficient superconducting neural networks.
