The present day hyperspectral remote sensing systems allow obtaining images of surveyed areas in hundreds of narrow spectral channels which completely cover the chosen spectral region. This kind of images is used for solving new complicated problems of monitoring of different natural and anthropogenic objects. Hyperspectral measurements are widely applied for monitoring soils, assessing of forest and water resources, searching oil and mineral deposits, environmental assessment, inspection of waterworks, pipelines, power lines, hydrological objects, etc. Remote sensing images used for the retrieval of vegetation parameters normally correspond to the visible and near infrared (VNIR) spectral region
