The total light scattering coefficient, the degree of depolarization, refractive index and density were measured for chlorobenzene–o-dichlorobenzene solutions. The isotropic and anisotropic molecular light scattering intensities, isothermal compressibility and its excess part, molar volume and its excess part were calculated. Complex nonmonotonic behavior of light scattering coefficients in response to the concentration change was found. The minimum of light scattering intensity on the chlorobenzene side and the maximum of light scattering intensity on the o-dichlorobenzene side were observed at low concentrations range, which suggests substantial rearracsngements of solution local structure caused by concentration changes. Four intervals with different local structure were selected in the concentration ranges: 0–0.03; 0.03–0.65; 0.65–0.9; 0.9–1.0 according to analysis of light scattering coefficients, excess isothermal compressibility and excess molar volume. The solution local structure in each interval was described.
