Nematode community of Arctic shelf underexplored and studied irregular. Main goal of this research was studying spatial distribution and taxonomic diversity of nematode community in system: Lena river delta – shelf – borderland slope – deep basing of Laptev Sea ecosystem. Material was taken Transect has 550 m length and depth range 18 to 91 m. A total of 5 stations were sampled with the multiple corer (MUC) and Niemistö corer on the transect from submeridional transect Lena river delta to associate Laptev Sea shelf. Nematodes were the most abundant taxon, harpacticoid copepods (excluding nauplii) were the 2nd. The abundance and taxonomic diversity of meiobenthos and nematodes increases from Lena delta to most deep station. Laptev Sea data was check against data from area with similar climate, temperature and ice order and human impact layer (Kara Sea) for showing up general distributional pattern for arctic nematodes. The study is supported by Russian Fund of Fundamental Researches, grant N 14-05-05003 and Russian Science Foundation, grant N 14-17-00681.
