This work is devoted to the study of mathematical models of landscape forest fires and numerical modeling of the movement of the forest fire front. In our work, the main object of study is the problem of determining the position of the moving front of a forest fire. It is known that as a result of forest fires, not all forest biomass burns, but only a part of it. Knowing information about the movement of the fire front, it is possible not only to predict the further direction of fire spread, but also to estimate the damage (the proportion of burnt biomass) caused to the forest in the area where the forest fire has already passed.
