We propose a method to realize a φ Josephson junction by combining alternating 0 and π parts (sub junctions) with an intrinsically nonsinusoidal current-phase relation (CPR). We have shown that such junctions may have rather complicated and unusual diagram of the bound states. Such Josephson junction having degenerate ground states implemented in a Josephson qubit may significantly improve its properties. At the end I will briefly report my recent investigations of Josephson junctions at arbitrary scattering, as well as singlet and triplet multilayered ferromagnetic Josephson junctions.
