We study the dependence of low latitude boundary layer thickness and its dependence of solar wind and IMF parameters using data of THEMIS mission. The method of LLBL thickness determination using data of single satellite crossing of LLBL and magnetopause is developed. The method is based on the analysis of the variation of plasma velocity in the layer perpendicular to the magnetopause. The testing of the developed method by analysis of two nearly simultaneous crossings of LLBL and magnetopause by different THEMIS satellites show that the method has ~10% accuracy. We carefully analyze >200 cases and obtain values of LLBL thickness. The LLBL thickness dependences on IMF and solar wind parameters are received. The parameters of solar wind and IMF are obtained using WIND or THEMIS-B satellites data. The time delay of the solar wind propagation to the LLBL crossing was taken into account. Obtained dependences are analyzed and compared with the theoretical predictions.
