Organic semiconductors (OSCs) have received considerable attention due to their exceptional optoelectronic properties in organic electronics, such as organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) and organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Among the various chemical structures used in low molecular OSCs, [1]benzothieno[3,2-b]benzothiophene (BTBT) represents a favorable core structure for high-performance OFETs. Immobilization of biological receptors on the surface of organic semiconductors or gates by fixing molecules specific to the corresponding biomarkers facilitates binding to the target analyte and ensures the selectivity of the device.
