The technology of experimental estimation of permeability of sand and loamy sand sediments during freezing and hydrate saturation is presented in this report. The experimental data on the influence of hydrate and ice formation processes on the gas permeability of dispersed sediments are considered on its basis. The influence of the degree of transition of pore water into hydrate on the gas permeability in different sand samples has been identified. It was shown experimentally when 70-80% of pore water transformed into hydrate in sand and loamy sand samples with water content 14-18%, their gas permeability is reduced to 1-2 orders. The decrease of permeability of hydrate saturated samples in a few and more times when hydrate samples are freezing has been marked. It was associated with processes of freezing of residual pore water and the processes of additional hydrate.
