Methods for retrieving relevant documents are becoming increasingly popular both in the context of user needs and to support the operation of large language models. The talk proposes to automate an iterative approach to retrieve a collection of relevant documents, as well as the process of assessing the performance of this algorithm without involving real users. In addition, experiments demonstrate that combining training data can improve the performance of the retriever model.
