The sociocultural conditions and models of success in America as reflected in various areas of US culture were examined from a historical and contemporary perspective within six sections: Journalism, Culture of America in the 17th-19th centuries. American Culture of the 20th-21st Centuries, Ethnic aspects of American culture, Gender Aspects of American Culture, Fantastic in the Arts and Culture of the United States, Canadian Dimension of American Culture. Many presentations explored the relationship between the concept of “success” and evolution of the American Dream. In the six sections over sixty reports were discussed by both experienced Americanists and those who recently identified the United States as a sphere of scientific interests from 23 universities and academic institutes in thirteen Russian cities, as well as from Belarus, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan. China and eight cities of the USA. In addition to the speakers, many listeners were also attracted by the traditional round table "Imprints: Image of Russia and Image of America", dedicated to the memory of Professor Yassen Zassoursky, the founder of annual conferences on American Culture Studies at the Journalism Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University since 1975. The working languages of the conference were Russian and English.
