Nowadays the students demonstrate two contradictory features. On the one hand, they are inclined to learn foreign languages, not limiting themselves to one or even two of them. On the other hand, they would like to mitigate the learning process and to get all their positive eggs in one basket. And storytelling is such an instrument in both in and out of the room, in a digital format and as a control device. Storytelling with its narrative point of view, its heroes, its evolving cultural norms provides edutainment and blended learning. Storytelling is a means for sharing and interpreting experiences that the teachers and the students have received. It helps intercultural communication and addresses educational objectives. Based on emotional aspects of human beings, storytelling makes the students actively engaged in word/term memorization with minimal guidance. Some examples will be done to illustrate the pedagogical power of storytelling in Economic English.
