In the modern rubber industry, titanium and nickel-based catalysts are being displaced by a catalyst containing neodymium, such as neodymium neodecanoate. Employees of «LIT» LLC have developed a new technology for the synthesis of neodymium neodecanoate. The new method of production compares favorably with the known high rate of production of neodymium neodecanoate at room temperature and simplification of technological equipment while maintaining high quality criteria of the products. The company «LIT» LLC has mastered pilot production with an annual output of 250 tons of neodymium neodecanoate per year. At the moment, in agreement with customers, «LIT» LLC produces neodymium neodecanoate of three brands – А, В, С. Since October 2022, the products have been supplied to the petrochemical enterprises of PJSC SIBUR (JSC Voronezhsintezkauchuk and PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim). It is planned to expand production and supply products for export to Turkey and Vietnam.
