Broadband or wide spectrum seismic data acquisition and processing became the main trend in recent years resulting in high resolution seismic images which add value and reduce risk in consequent seismic interpretation, inversion and target reservoir characterization. Land vibroseis source is a proven instrument for generating a controllable complex frequency and amplitude modulated signals during land seismic exploration projects. Vibroseis source consist of two main components: hydro mechanical and electronic control systems. Continuous investigations and developments have been performed for improvement of both components by the major acquisition contractors. Various low frequencies dwelling techniques make standard vibrators capable to generate low frequencies sweep signals in decreased force mode (Bagaini, 2008). Low frequency heavy vibrators now can generate full force sweep signal started from 4 Hz (Tellier and Ollivrin, 2014) thus meeting broadband concept which consider spectral broadening mainly toward low frequencies. At the same time, importance of the further improvements in mid to high frequencies signal content still remains relevant. Latest development of vibrator control electronic system, which allows for expanding and optimally adapting signal spectrum of the sweep in low and high frequency ranges, is presented in this work through field seismic 3D experiment.
