This work presents the semimpirical level-to-level collisional – radiative model in diagnostics of the nonequilibrium nitrogen plasma. The model is synthesized by authors as generalization of large information content on the kinetic processes including nitrogen atoms, molecules and their ions, as well as cross-sections and rate coefficients. The reliability of designed model is confirmed by quantitative agreement with the number of literature data on plasma parameters of DC glow steady and impulses discharges, as well as microwave discharges.
