Nonlinearity of carbon nanotubes significantly exceeds nonlinearity of the materials of crystal microresonators and waveguides. Deposition of carbon nanotubes to the surface of the microresonator may enhance its nonlinearity. In this paper, the characteristics of high-quality factor microresonators with whispering gallery modes with single-layer carbon nanotubes deposited on the surface are experimentally investigated.
