Middle East plays the special role at the global petrochemical industry. Middle East is a unique region with enormously high resource security and the recent development of large petrochemical plants in some countries with a large number of free capital from the oil and natural gas export, but poorly economically integrated, politically unstable and incredibly differential, which allows him to occupy exclusive niche in the global petrochemical industry. The article was showed, that Middle Eastern petrochemical industry has become competitive on the world stage after implementation of the unique Middle Eastern model. It was found, that the key petrochemical plants locate at strategic points — places with favorable economic and geographical position, providing competitive shipping advantage. It was noted, that most plants focus on the production of only one or a few kinds of petrochemicals, which provides them the global competitive advantage by focusing on the most promising products.
