Аннотация доклада:
Basic ideas and principles of the Standard Model as a gauge quantum field theory with spotaneous symmetry breaking are discussed. Special attention is paid to various problems and a number of experimental facts which the Standard Model is not able to resolve or explain. Main directions of theories and models beyond the Standard Model are briefly introduced.
